DM Rajouri discusses defence land issues with Army and Revenue officers

District Magistrate Rajouri, Vikas Kundal, today chaired a joint meeting of revenue and Army officers to address various issues related to defence land, acquisition, de-requisition of immovable property, attestation of mutations and rental issues.

The meeting was held to ensure coordination between the Defence and revenue offices and to resolve minor issues. Vikas Kundal stressed the importance of coordination among the officers to achieve maximum results and advised for holding regular meetings of revenue officers, ADEO office, and Military officers to address minor issues effectively.

The joint verification of land by civil and military authorities was also discussed, emphasizing the need for accurate and transparent processes.

The officials also discussed the attestation of mutations and the meeting aimed to find solutions to streamline the process. Regarding the demarcation of land, the revenue officers were directed to complete the pending demarcations at the earliest.

The meeting was highly productive, with both revenue and Army officers collaborating to find solutions to the issues related to defence land. The District Magistrate highlighted the importance of timely resolution of issues to avoid any delays.

The meeting was a positive step towards efficient management of defence land and ensuring that the rights and interests of all parties involved are protected.

The meeting was attended by the concerned officers from Defence Forces including Colonel HQ 25 DIV, Rajeev Singh; Administrative Commandant for Station Commander, Rajesh Fauzdar; ADC Rajouri, Rajeev Kumar Khajuria; ACR, Imran Rashid Kataria; EXEN PWD(R&B) Rajouri, Sardar Khan; ADEO and Tehsildars.
