Distribution/ Fitment Camp of Aids and Appliances for CWSN held at Bandipora

Inclusive Education Wing of Department of School Education, Bandipora in collaboration with ALIMCO Kanpur organized a distribution cum fitment camp to provide appropriate Aids and Appliances to Children with special needs (CWSN) at Conference Hall, Mini-Secretariat, Bandipora.

Additional Deputy Commissioner Bandipora, Umar Shafi Pandit presided over as Chief Guest in the presence of Mohammad Rafiq Parry Dy. CEO Bandipora and Nazir Ahmad Lone President J&K Handicapped Association.

The Program was also attended by ZEO Sumbal Riyaz Ahmad Samoon, ZEO Quilmuqam Mohd Hussain, Mr Mushtaq Ahmad Mir Distt Coordinator IED along with team from Samagra Shiksha Chief Education Office Bandipora and also the technical experts from ALIMCO Kanpur.

During the course of camp, 71 CWSN students were assessed and provided with Aids and Appliances.

ADC appreciated the efforts of School Education Department and ALIMCO. He emphasized that such camps tremendously help students to cope up in their daily life and should go in a long way to help them to achieve life goals. He also impressed that such camps should be organized more often in all Blocks/Zones.

He also felicitated one of the CWSN students of Class XI for meritorious performance in the recently declared results of Class XI.

Nazir Ahmad Lone President J&K Handicapped Association also spoke on the occasion and appreciated the efforts of all stakeholders in the conduct of such camps.

On the culmination of the event, DyCEO Bandipora Mohammad extended his gratitude to all the stakeholders for making the event a success.
