The DC urged all departments to work together in coordination to make the campaign successful, and to take part in all events themselves while encouraging others to do the same.

The meeting also highlighted the importance of paying homage to the ‘Veers’ who have sacrificed their lives for the nation. The departments were asked to prepare a list of all such ‘Veers’ who have sacrificed their lives, including freedom fighters and defence/police personnel of the district.

Under the activity of ‘Vasudha Vandan,’ each Gram Panchayat will replenish mother earth by planting at least 75 plant saplings, preferentially around the already established Amrit Sarovars. ‘Mitti Yatras’ from Panchayats shall also be organized as a part of the campaign, emphasizing the need to protect and preserve the environment.

The DC emphasized the importance of effective celebrations of Independence Day, which will serve as a platform to instill a sense of patriotism and national pride among citizens. He urged officers to work with dedication and commitment towards making the campaign a resounding success.

With the “Meri Maati Mera Desh” campaign, the people of Rajouri have a unique opportunity to celebrate the spirit of freedom and independence and reaffirm their commitment towards building a stronger, united, and prosperous India.
