On the Occasion of “World Nature Conservation Day 2023” The troops from Chinar Corps under the aegis of 31 Sub Area carried out plantation drive at Army Public School Srinagar, Badami Bagh Cantonment & adjacent Villages by planting 600 saplings of Deodar to contribute to preserving the environment by increasing the green cover. Theme for the yr 2023 is ‘Forests & Livelihood: Society People & Planet.’ The drive was a part of the military station’s efforts to contribute to the environment and bio-diversity. The military station is also a polythene free zone with garbage collection and waste disposal being carried out in an environment friendly way.
