Holds mega medical camp at Phagsoo -Thathri

With the aim to extend quality medical care services to the people of the District at their door steps, the District Health Society Doda has launched a pioneering initiative -“Doctor Aapke Gaon Mein.”

In this connection, a mega medical camp was held at Village Phagsoo in Medical Block Thathri under the supervision of Chief Medical Officer Doda, Dr. Ab Hamid Zargar and guidance of Block Medical Officer Thathri Dr Shafqat Javed Zargar.

The people were examined and screened by a team of specialist doctors of Ophthalmology, Orthopedics, ENT, Medicine, Gynecology, General Surgery. In addition to this, a range of other services were provided to the people under RBSK, MMU and RKSK.

More than 300 patients swarmed the camp to avail the consultation medical by specialists. They were examined and provided free medicines. Besides ANC check up and ultrasound services were also provided to the pregnant women in the camp.

Dr Fayaz ul Haq Zargar, Dr Ab Gafoor Ahmed, Dr Bishen Singh, Dr Ifra, Dr Mudassir Sufi, Dr Priya Manhas, Dr Muneeza Iqbal, Dr Shazia Shakeel and staff of MMU Doda, RBSK & RKSK teams of Thathri rendered their services to make the camp successful.

Among others the camp was attended by Dr Shakeel Ahmed Kichloo, Jonson Chandail, Health Staff and local PRIs of the area.

The locals of the area thanked the health department particularly Health Secretary, Bhupinder Kumar, Director Health Services Jammu Dr Rajeev Kumar Sharma, Deputy Commissioner Doda, Vishesh Paul Mahajan and CMO Doda, Dr. Ab Hamid Zargar for organizing such a mega camp for the betterment of common people.
