Directs officers to ensure successful conduct of Campaign across the district

The Deputy Commissioner (DC) Kupwara, Ayushi Sudan today convened a meeting of all concerned officers to review the preparations for conduct of “Meri Mati Mera Desh” campaign under Azadi Ka Amrit Mahotsav in the district.

Addressing the meeting, the DC stressed upon all the departments to ensure utmost coordination among themselves to make the “Meri Mati Mera Desh” campaign successful. She asked the officers to maintain uniformity in activities to be carried out across all Panchayats/institutions as part of the campaign.

She emphasized that the main events will be conducted preferably at Amrit Sarovars as far as possible and every Panchayat will join in offering collective tribute to the Mitti of the Motherland.

On the occasion, the ADC Kupwara gave a detailed PowerPoint Presentation regarding the “Meri Mati Mera Desh” campaign. He highlighted various components of the campaign including Deep Dive-Silaphalakam, Vasudha Vandhan (planting 75 saplings), Veeron Ka Vandan, Hoisting of National Flag and Singing of Rashtra Gaan and Panch Pran Pledge + Selfie.

The Campaign website /ink https://yuva.gov.in/meri_maati_mera_desh was also shared with the officers for keeping themselves updated.

SSP Kupwara, Yougal Manahas; ADC Handwara, ADC Kupwara, DPO ICDS, ACR, SDM Lolab, CMO, ACD, DIO, Tehsildars, BDOs, Dy. CEO and concerned officers attended the meeting.
