The NCC wings of Padma Shri Padma Sachdev Government College for Women proudly bade heartfelt farewell to its outstanding cadets who have completed their tenure with the organization.

A momentous occasion, the Farewell Ceremony- 2023 commenced with the lighting of the traditional lamp followed by a motivational address by the College Principal Prof. Minu Mahajan-the Chief Guest on the occasion.

The Farewell Ceremony served as a tribute to the relentless efforts and indomitable spirit of Senior Cadets of 2J&K Girls Bn.NCC, Jammu; 1J&K Girls Bn.NCC (Srinagar) and 1J&K Naval (Srinagar) who served as beacons of inspiration for their peers.

Aarohan – the newsletter of NCC was released on this occasion which showcases the unwavering dedication of cadets in honing their leadership skills and commitment to social causes and exemplified the true spirit of nation-building.

A moment of pride and a bittersweet experience was graced by the Senior faculty members, ANO’s- Lt. Dr.Revika Arora; SLt. Dr. Neelima Gupta; Lt. Prof. Suman Bala; Prof. Poonam (C/T) and NCC alumni who have etched their mark in various fields.

An opportunity for the outgoing cadets to reflect on their memorable journey within the NCC and the lifelong friendships they have forged was made special with a cultural Bonanza presented by juniors, a series of inspiring speeches, heartwarming anecdotes, and presentations showcasing the remarkable achievements of the outgoing cadets.

The programme concluded with the presentation of momentos as a token of love and the cake cutting ceremony.
