13th round of KIsan Samparak Abhiyan under HADP concludes in Ramban

The 13th round of Kisan Sampark Abhiyan, Farmers Orientation programme on Holistic Agriculture Development Plan, under the aegis of Azadi Ka Amrit Mahotsav with the theme Atma Nirbhar Bharat, concluded today in 2 blocks of district Ramban.

The campaign ended on a positive note as an overwhelming response was received from the farming community in all ten blocks of the district. Audio-visuals (AVs) aids were used to disseminate the information about different government sponsored schemes meant for the welfare of the farmers associated with Agriculture, Animal Husbandry, Sheep Husbandry, Horticulture, Apiculture, Pisciculture, Sericulture etc.

The resource persons from different departments imparted awareness to the participating farmers regarding different schemes.

Informative booklets in 03 (three) languages regarding the schemes of HADP were distributed among the participants. Moreover, farmers were also made aware about Daksh Kisan (online learning portal for skill development) and Kisan Sathi (IT Dashboard) portal for applying for different services/ schemes.

The resource persons urged farmers to ensure maximum participation in ‘Kisan Sampark Abhiyan’ to avail orientation and skilling courses for all interventions, latest techniques, exploring new possibilities, and making the farming more accessible and profitable.

During the program, farmers also raised various queries, which were diligently responded by the resource persons.

The event witnessed a huge participation of farmers, mostly unemployed youth at each venue. As many as 331 farmers were registered during the thirteen round of Kisan Sampark Abhiyan for the baseline survey by the Skill gap study resource persons.
