In a significant development for the district of Ganderbal, Mohammad Amin Shah, the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) District President, met with Lieutenant Governor (LG) (HE) Manoj Sinha in a brief visit. The meeting focused on addressing key developmental issues concerning Ganderbal, and the LG assured Shah of his full support in resolving them.
Mohammad Amin Shah, presented special memorandum for Casual labourers of Sind Forest Division Ganderbal with the Lieutenant Governor of Jammu and Kashmir, Manoj Sinha, to address their demands. Shah sought the immediate attention and redressal of the longstanding grievances of the casual labourers from Sind Forest Division ganderbal who have been engaged in a persistent protest. Expressing deep empathy for their plight, Mohammad Amin Shah appealed to LG Manoj Sinha to swiftly address the demands put forth by these workers. Recognizing the importance of resolving the issue promptly, Shah emphasized the urgency and significance of providing relief to the struggling labourers.
Moreover, the recent decision to allot land to landless families of Jammu and Kashmir under PMGAY (G) was praised. During the meeting, Mohammad Amin Shah apprised Lieutenant Governor (HE) Manoj Sinha of the pressing concerns faced by the people of Ganderbal. The district president highlighted various areas that require immediate attention, including infrastructure development, healthcare facilities, education, and employment opportunities. Need for road widening in Beehama Chowk and to DC office was discussed including upgradation of Physical Education College, Degree College and Central University was also brought to the notice of His Excellency. Recognizing the importance of addressing these issues, Lieutenant Governor Manoj Sinha attentively listened to Mohammad Amin Shah’s concerns. The LG acknowledged the significance of equitable growth and development across all regions of Jammu and Kashmir, including Ganderbal. He assured Shah that the administration would leave no stone unturned to ensure the fulfillment of the district’s developmental aspirations.
Lieutenant Governor Manoj Sinha lauded Mohammad Amin Shah’s efforts in highlighting the developmental needs of Ganderbal. He assured the district president that the administration would work closely with the concerned departments to address these concerns effectively. With the LG’s assurance of full support and commitment to the district’s progress, it is expected that the concerns raised will be given due attention, resulting in tangible improvements in the lives of the people of Ganderbal especially the casual labourers.
