The Indian Army organized a ‘Empowerment through Skill Development’ Program in the Forest Guesthouse, Thayan, located in the Kalaroos Block. The primary objective of the program was to empower the local youth by providing them with valuable skills and knowledge. The event saw an enthusiastic turnout of 70 participants.
During the event, several speakers discussed various government schemes and policies relevant to the participants and highlighted the benefits associated with them. Special emphasis was placed on initiatives such as the Pradhan Mantri Kaushal Vikas Yojana (PMKVY), STRIVE, Skill Mission India, and Common Services Centre (CSC).
An interactive session conducted allowing the attendees to gain a deeper understanding of these initiatives. The knowledge acquired during these sessions provided the participants with valuable insights and opened up new opportunities and avenues for them. The participants expressed their gratitude to the Indian Army for organizing such an informative session. The event concluded with tea and refreshments.
