Calls for timeline completion of ongoing works

To review the progress of works under Mission Amrit Sarovar, MGNREGA, SBM, PMAY-G, Deputy Commissioner Udhampur, Sachin Kumar Vaishya today chaired a meeting of officers of Rural Development Department here in the Mini Conference Hall DC Office Complex.

At the outset, Assistant Commissioner Development, Dr Ranjeet Kotwal briefed about the achievements under different schemes of the RDD sector.

The DC took block wise review of the progress of schemes including MGNREGA, PMAY, SBM, ADF, Amrit Sarovars and directed the BDOs to ensure adherence to the timelines.

While reviewing the performance indicators of MGNREGA, the DC asked the concerned officers to gear up to achieve the projected targets which are lagging behind, so that the objective of the scheme is achieved.

He stressed on achievement of targets under SBM-G and Amrit Sarovars within the given timelines. DC further asked the ACD to find more locations including on NH to construct the Community Sanitary Complexes(CSCs) on priority. Reviewing the PMAY (G), the DC asked BDOs to complete all sanctioned houses within the current financial year.

The SDMs were directed to closely monitor the pace of work of Amrit Sarovers in their respective jurisdictions, while the DPO was asked to prepare a list of all CSCs and furnish geotagged photographs.
