The Inauguration ceremony was attended by several dignitaries, including government officials, local representatives, and community members. The event commenced with the ribbon-cutting by the DDC Vice Chairperson.

Speaking at the event, the Vice Chairperson emphasized the importance of clean drinking water for the overall health and well-being of people. She highlighted the government’s commitment to provide safe water to every citizen and applauded the efforts made under the Jal Jeevan Mission to achieve this goal.

Installation of these components at Jakhanoo village is expected to benefit approximately 200 households in the area. It will ensure a regular supply of clean and safe drinking water directly from the Dug well at Khoon, eliminating the need for villagers to travel long distances in search of water sources or remaining dependent on indirect water supply from nearby villages. This development will significantly improve the quality of life for the residents and contribute to their overall socio-economic development.

The Vice Chairperson assured the gathering that the administration is committed to completing the project within the stipulated time frame and ensuring the successful implementation of the Jal Jeevan Mission across the district.

Pathania also took stock of the public grievances regarding power supply, drinking water, road connectivity, health infrastructure, requirement of electric poles, repair of handpumps etc. She assured the gathering that she will take up all the issues raised with the district administration and try to resolve them at the earliest.

Prominent among those who remained present at the occasion included Chain Singh Sarpanch Palnoo, Mohan Lal Sharma Sarpanch S.K.Bair, Seema Devi panch, Mr Shiv Ram, Subash Chander, Sham Lal, Renu Devi and others.
