DC Rajouri discusses plan to promote walnut export under One District One Product Initiative

Rajouri district is taking significant strides towards promoting its local products under One District One Product. Deputy Commissioner of Rajouri, Vikas Kundal, chaired a meeting to review plans for the promotion of Walnut for export purpose under the ODOP initiative in the district here in a meeting.

The Deputy Commissioner Rajouri emphasized the need for promoting local products and creating sustainable job opportunities for the people of the district. He said that the One District One Product initiative is an excellent opportunity to promote Walnut, which is one of the key agricultural products of the district.

The meeting was attended by CPO Mohammad Khurshid; GM DIC, Ashwini Sharma, CHO Madan Lal Tak, LDM Sanjeev Bhasin, and other officials.
