KUPWARA, JUNE 26: As per J&K Legal Services Authority’s calendar of activities 2023, an awareness programme on International Day against Drug Abuse was today organized by District Legal Services Authority (DLSA) Kupwara.
Legal Aid Defense Counsels and Para Legal Volunteers of DLSA Kupwara under the supervision of Shazia Tabasum, Chairperson DLSA Kupwara reiterated their intention to fight drug abuse in a day long Drug Education Campaign at District Jail Kupwara.
The main aim of the campaign was to help young people resist drug misuse, to enable people with drug problems to overcome them, to help addicts kick their habit, to reduce the availability of drugs on the streets, to make people understand that drug problem is not irreversible, besides, awareness regarding the health and legal consequences of drugs abuse was also given.
DLSA Kupwara has once again reiterated that there shall be no soft message to fight on illicit drugs or drug menace.
