The two day Baba Jatroon annual Mela Commenced today, here at Village Dandotra of District Udhampur.

DDC Councillor, Jasvir Singh along with Tehsildar Panchari inaugurated the mela.

While addressing the gathering, the DDC Councillor congratulated the people and said such melas are helpful in exchanging our cultural tradition and people from far flung areas meet their near ones in such melas. These melas are playing a pivotal role in maintaining brotherhood, peace and prosperity, he added.

Various sports activities were also organised by the students of various schools of the area. Besides local Artists including students of different Educational institutions presented scintillating cultural performances on the first day which was highly appreciated by one and all.
