Orientation training prog on yatra monitoring held at ICCC, HMT

Following the directions of Divisional Commissioner Kashmir, Vijay Kumar Bidhuri, an orientation cum training program was today held at Integrated Command & Control Centre (ICCC), HMT regarding the functioning of the centre to make officers of the concerned departments familiar with their roles and responsibilities.

The entire training programme was supervised by incharge, ICCC and Director Land Management, SDA, Zahoor Ahmad Magray.

The training was imparted by the Incharge Divisional Control Room and Revenue Attorney in Div Com Office, Tahir Magray.

In a detailed presentation, he gave an overview regarding operation ICCC which has been put in use for Shri Amartnath Ji Yatra since 2022 and is being integrated with RFID to monitor Yatra remotely on a real time basis. ICCC has been envisaged to facilitate effective management of operations, exceptional scenarios and disaster mitigation using information and communication technologies.

Besides, he also elaborated management of time, resources and manpower through effective and efficient commands.

He said all the data collection is working through RFID cards and geo-tagging besides the information from Camp directors and concerned police officers.

Magray explained department wise roles for extending services to yatries and following the daily track of availability of essential items and services.

He informed that the huge influx of yatries is expected this year and advised departments to make adequate arrangements for the entire phase of the yatra.

He educated participants regarding how to quickly respond to disasters and emergencies and adherence to accurate dissemination of information.

Besides, he touched on the other aspects of yatra including sanitation, langars, helpline numbers and coordination among departments.
