Former Minister and Jammu GV Provincial President of DPAP Jugal Kishore Sharma, District President Ashwani Khajuria and State Secretary Priti Khajuria visited Block Mongri of udhampur west constituency for a day and participated in annual fair in village Ajjal. This tradition has been going on in village Ajjal for hundreds of years, that a fair and wrestling is organized there on 15th June in which wrestlers from different age groups participate and both the winner and the loser get rewards . A volleyball match is also organized in the fair, in which teams from Reasi, Udhampur, Mongri, Pancheri participated On the occasion Jugal Kishore Sharma addressed the people present there and said that we should not try change these old traditions, we have to take them to next generations .further he said that the spirit of sports among youth makes them mentally and physically strong and if the youth remains healthy, then that area and the country also move towards progress because the golden future of the country also depends on the physically and mentally fit youth. Futher he said that during his tenure as a minister he got many works done in this area like sanctions of schools, constructions of Dakbungalow, youth hostel, roads, health center, meeting the demand of water and electricity etc. The development work done by him during his tenure was uncountable as compared to present government .
On the occasion, District Head Ashwani Khajuria said that such fairs are a symbol of our rich culture which we should hand over to the coming generations and it is a great pleasure to see the youth participating in the games because the youths in the urban areas today are moving towards drugs addiction and other crimes and putting their future at risk, due to which the family, society and country are not able to move forward, but we can see that the youth in the village is away from these evils which take forward the prosperity of that area. Healthy youth with healthy mind means a happy society. Ashwani Khajuria told the youth present over their to inspire the youth of their surrounding areas to participate in such occasions so that everyone gets to know the culture of that area and these events also increase mutual brotherhood and reconciliation.
In this one-day visit, former Minister and DPAP Jammu State President Jugal Kishore Sharma, District President Ashwani Khajuria, State Secretary Priti Khajuria and Shiriraj Sharma Zonal vice- president met the people of Krimchi, Pathipangara, Kanthgali, Panjar and Mongri and listened to their numerous problems they are facing due to false promises of present Jammu and Kashmir UT government
Among Residents of Reasi, Mongri Pancheri, players along with Mr. Raj, Nab Sarpanch Shamsher Singh, Panch Krishan Singh, Om Lal, Aziz Mohammad, Retired Lecturer Jai Prakash, Karnail Singh, Munshi Ram, Retired Master Dhani Ram were also present on the occasion.
