The Department of Youth Services and Sports, District Kishtwar today started the Inter School Zone Level multi- sports Competition for Kishtwar & Nagseni Zones .

This prestigious event showcased the immense talent and competitive spirit of the participating youth.

 

Hosted under the guidance of DYSSO, K L Sharma, and in the presence of Dewan Chand, Zonal Physical Education Officer Kishtwar and Suresh Chander Parihar I/c Zonal Physical Education Officer (Activity) Zone Nagseni, the competition witnessed intense contests in the disciplines of Kabaddi, Kho – Kho, Volleyball, and Badminton.

 

In all 315 U14 Boys and Girls students of Zone Kishtwar and 45 U 14 and U 17 (Boys & Girls) students of Zone Nagseni participated in the event, representing different schools of the twin Zones. The students displayed exceptional skills, determination, and sportsmanship, vying for selection for the upcoming Inter Zonal Competition.

 

The Inter School Zone Level Competition provided an appropriate platform to the young athletes to showcase their abilities and encouraged healthy competition and camaraderie among the participants.

 

The Department of Youth Service and Sports remains committed to nurturing and promoting sports talent in our community, fostering a culture of physical fitness and excellence.
