Karnah, : Despite facing significant challenges, the resilient farm in Dringla Karnah perseveres, ensuring a consistent year-round supply of fresh vegetables to the region. Overcoming limited resources and the lingering impact of a 2005 earthquake that damaged parts of its land, this farm remains steadfast in meeting the community’s vegetable needs.  Located in a valley prone to heavy snowfall that often isolates the region from the district headquarters, the farm has become a vital lifeline for the people of Karnah. It not only provides essential sustenance during harsh winters but also offers a diverse range of vegetables throughout every season.  Javid Ahmad Lone, a prominent leader  from the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP), acknowledged the farm’s extraordinary accomplishments. He praised the team’s unwavering dedication, perseverance, and resourcefulness in ensuring a diverse and plentiful supply of vegetables to the people of Karnah.  Lone emphasized the need to address the challenges faced by the farm, including the repair and restoration of the earthquake-damaged land. He called on the government to provide necessary support and resources to facilitate the farm’s expansion and improve infrastructure.  Recognizing the essential role played by the farm’s daily wagers and casual laborers, Lone urged the government to consider granting permanent employment to these hardworking individuals. He emphasized that the farm’s success is owed, in large part, to the dedication and expertise of these workers, who have played a crucial role in sustaining vegetable production for over two decades.  Dringla’s Farm stands as a testament to the resilience and determination of the Karnah community. Despite facing challenges posed by limited staff and damaged land, the farm continues to flourish and contribute significantly to the region’s food security. The farm’s ability to adapt and provide an array of vegetables showcases the resourcefulness and commitment of its team.  As Dringla’s Farm continues to defy the odds, the people of Karnah are grateful for its unwavering efforts in supplying fresh vegetables. The community eagerly awaits the government’s support in repairing the damaged land, expanding the farm’s operations, and providing stability to the dedicated workforce.
