KUPWARA, MAY 27: As part of out-reach initiative and Perception Management, Zila Sainik Welfare Office Kupwara in collaboration with 216 Medium Regiment of Army  at Drugmulla Kupwara Saturday conducted an awareness programme for Ex- Service Men(ESM) and Veer Nari’s from remote areas of Tehsil Drugmulla.  The awareness programe  cum interaction session was  aimed to address grievances of ex-servicemen and resolve various pension anomalies and other grievances of the veterans. The objective was also to provide comprehensive resolution of grievances and make them aware about the latest benefits and welfare schemes.  A large number of  ESM including Veer Nar’s and War windows participated the rally.  The lectures were delivered by the  representatives   from Zillah Sainik Walfare office Kupwara and Commanding officer 216 Medium Regiment.    Participants thanked  army  for conducting such  informative awareness programes cum interaction session.
