KUPWARA, MAY 19; On the directions of District Development Commissioner Kupwara, Dr.Doifode Sagar Dattatray, ACP Kupwara paid a surprise visit to several Panchayats of the Haiham block of Kupwara district to take stock of SBM,SWM, and cleanliness drive going on in different Panchayats of the block. Parvaiz Rahim, ACP Kupwara accompanied by BDO Hayhama, Mansoor Ahmad Shah visited Chalgund Panchayat, inspected site identified for the Construction of SWM(solid waste Management) Segregation Shed in the Panchayat, checked various vermi compost pits and soakage pits constructed under MGNREGA. ACP said that department is working on war footing basis to achieve the targets particularly on SBM-G , SWM, compost pits and segregation Sheds. ACP visited block Head quarters Hayhama and reviewed progress on various schemes. ACP later visited Panchayat Sulkoot and inspected functioning of Panchayat Secretariat Sulkote and SBM assets and took stock of Cleanliness drive and interacted with employees and locals.
