KULGAM, MAY 04: The Deputy Commissioner Kulgam, Bilal Mohi- ud- Din Bhat and Deputy Commissioner Anantnag, Syeed Fakhrudin Hamid today conducted a joint visit oto Qazigund area to take on spot inspection regarding the finalisation of alignment of Bypass Road on NH 444 in villages of Kurigam and Wangund.  The 4.2 km road stretch with proposed width of 24-30 metres on NH 444 connects Watihal, Kurigam Village with Wangund, bypassing Main Market Qazigund. The road shall be executed by Project Circle Division Srinagar (Executing Agency) upon the approval of Alignment, subsequent to today’s visit.  The concerned officials of the Project executing agency intimated the DCs about the completion of Survey on the project and regarding the best possible alignment avenues.  It was further intimated once the approval of the project is given, work on it shall be taken on war footing basis.  ADDC Kulgam, ADC Kulgam, ADC Anantnag, ACR Anantnag and other revenue officers, officials of PC Division accompanied the DCs.
