SHOPIAN, MAY 01: The Deputy Commissioner (DC) Shopian, Faz Lul Haseeb, today convened an introductory meeting with all district, sectoral officers at Meeting Hall of Mini Secretariat, here. On the occasion, the DC, while chairing the maiden meeting after assuming the charge of Deputy Commissioner, enjoined upon all officers to work with utmost dedication and commitment and ensure speedy execution of works for holistic development of the district. He further called upon all to be responsive and accessible to people at all times and nurture quick decision making abilities in resolving public grievances. He called for maintaining close coordination among departments for holistic and planned development of the district. While interacting with District/ Sectoral officers, DC asked for adopting a people friendly approach and maintaining accountability and transparency in the working of all Government offices. ADC Yar Ali Khan, district/ sectoral officers, Tehsildars, BDOs, BMOs and other concerned attended the meeting.
