DC Anantnag reviews progress of Special Summary Revision-2023

Says no eligible voter shall be left out

ANANTNAG, APRIL 25: The Deputy Commissioner (DC) Anantnag, Basharat Qayoom who is also the District Election Officer today reviewed the progress of Special Summary Revision 2023 in conference hall of DC office, here.   EROs and AERos while apprising the DEO said that every effort is being taken to register all the eligible voters and scheduled and special camps are organised at the respective polling stations besides in the the schools, colleges, professional institutions.  EROs further apprised the DEO about the Assured Minimum Facilities (AMF) available in polling stations, strengthening of clerical staff in EROs etc besides holding of special camps by dedicated EROs.    DEO directed all EROs to ensure filling infra gaps in AMF within two weeks time.   Each ERO and AEROs were directed to visit camp locations during special camps and focus on area where there are maximum gaps in enrolment.  All EROS , AEROs, Nodal officer SVEEP and other concerned Officers attended the meeting.
