KULGAM, APRIL 19: To take stock of the situation arisen due to incessant rains in the district, the Deputy Commissioner (DC) Kulgam, Dr. Bilal Mohi-Ud-Din Bhat today chaired a meeting of officers at mini-secretariat, here. During the meeting, the DC took a detailed stock of current status of water level of rivers, availability of sand bags, machinery and other arrangements available in the district. He instructed the officers to stay at their respective headquarters and not to leave the station. He was also instructed to keep men and machinery available to tackle any situation. Meanwhile it was informed that control rooms have been made operational at District and Tehsil levels to respond to any emergency and needs of the people. NO: PR/DDI/SGR/23/724/
