Appreciated the role of the police department in cracking down the drug peddlers in Ganderbal.   Ganderbal,April,18:Social activist and District President BJP Ganderbal Mohammad Amin Shah urged people of Jammu and Kashmir especially civil societies, Molvi’s, Imam’s and even politician’s strengthen the fight against Drug Abuse and Illicit Trafficking to achieve the goal of a society free of drug abuse. He said that increasing drug abuse and illicit trafficking among youth in Kashmir is a matter of concern and authorities should strengthen action to curb it for the betterment of a healthy society.     Shah appreciated the role of SSP Ganderbal Nikhil Bhorkar, DySp headquarter Gulam Hassan and SHOs of Ganderbal District for their commendable role in fighting drug abuse and illicit trafficking in District Ganderbal.

Shah also appealed to the parents to be aware and play their role to protect their children from falling prey to this menace. He added that parents need to keep a close watch on the Activities of their wards in the larger interest of the society.
