Besides, apprising him of future plans on Sharda Centre at LoC Teetwal, the committee pressed for long pending issues concerning the general public of the area. The committee demanded a regular SRTC 12 seater bus service for commuters from Srinagar – Teetwal and Kupwara – Teetwal routes, setting up of vegetarian eatery through Tourism department and allied issues. The committee further demanded setting up of Temples & Shrines board for reclaiming & maintaining minorities religious properties and posting of an officer of rank of Addl. Secretary to address issues of migrant kashmiri pundits in Delhi-NCR areas. The officer will function as deputy to Relief commissioner J&K like the one during CM’s rule 4 years ago. Hon’ble LG discussed the charter pointwise and agreed to all the genuine demands raised by the committee. It was also decided that Pran pratishtha of Sharda Murti should be held at Teetwal after conclusion of G 20 summit.
