JAMMU, MARCH 29: Chief Secretary, Dr Arun Kumar Mehta today extended his greetings to the people of J&K on the eve of Ram Navami.
Dr Mehta in his message said that Ram Navami, the birth day of Lord Ram, celebrated by the people of the nation with deep religious sentiment and fervor. He stated that Lord Ram is worshipped as the epitome of virtues and embodiment of righteousness and morality.
Ram Navami offers to the people an opportunity to renew their faith in spirituality, moral and ethical values and to rededicate themselves to the cause of underprivileged with service and sacrifice, he added.
