KUPWARA, MARCH 29: District Employment and Counselling Centre (DECC), kupwara today organised a Job Fair cum Placement Drive  at DECC kupwara.
         The Fair was inaugurated by District Development Council (DDC), Member Sogam,  Nasir Ahmad Lone.The programme was attended by unemployed youth of District kupwara around 110 Candidates participated besides this 3 reputed  Employers/Corporates with 40  plus vacancies  participated  like Edel Weis Tokio, Natural Life Care pvt ltd, LIC kupwara  who held one to one interaction with candidates. Around 49 candidates were short listed by these companies.
Further 50 plus candidates have been registered on the employment portal on spot.
On the occasion  Career Counselling Officer of DECC Kupwara emphasised upon the online registration of unemployed youth on department’s portal  and integration of Employment portal with National Career Services so that they could get real time information in future regarding employment avenues.
      The unemployed youth expressed gratitude to the DECC kupwara  for organising this job fair
