KULGAM, MARCH 28: The Deputy Commissioner (DC) Kulgam, Dr. Bilal-Mohi-Ud-Din-Bhat today chaired a meeting of Sponsorship and Foster Care Approval Committee (SFCAC) here at Mini-Secretariat, Kulgam.

The meeting was attended by Additional Deputy Commissioner Viqar Ahmed Giri, DSWO, Snober Altaf, Protection Officer IC, Protection Officer -NIC and representatives from NGO and other concerned.

During the meeting the committee sanctioned 190 eligible cases of sponsorship under Mission Vatsalya and decided to clear 58 cases on priority for release of payment.

At the outset of the meeting, the District Social Welfare Officer gave a presentation on various aspects of Mission Vatsalya, an umbrella scheme for child protection services in the District.
