This drive was particularly dedicated to G20 for the well being of mother earth so that humanity can thrive in a safe future.

G20 has prioritized plantation of all varieties of plants in order to focus on arresting land degradation, ecosystem restoration and climate sustainability.

This programme was part of Green Campus Initiative flagged by Principal Prof. Bashir Ahmad Rather who inaugurated the event by planting a sapling in college campus.

Faculty members, non-teaching staff members and students participated in the plantation drive with great enthusiasm by contributing their own saplings and planted different kinds of plants which include conifers, medicinal plants, ornamental plants and fruit trees in different parks of the College.

Some of the important plants that were planted in the botanical garden include Petunia, Rosa, Abrratia, Monestra, Thuja, Eunomyous etc.
