05 CRPF personnel injured in Udhampur road accident

Srinagar, Mar 15 : At least five CRPF personnel were injured in a road accident in Tikri Udhampur area of Jammu division on Wednesday.

Official sources told News agency that a Truck bearing registration No PB06B7355 driven by driver in rash and negligent manners was on its way from Udhampur towards Jammu when reached near Mand, the driver of the vehicle lost the control and hitted the Eicher of CRPF vehicle bearing registeration number JK02BN 6560.

In the incident, five CRPF personnel identified as ASI Brij lal, SGd Ashok kumar, ASI Govind Raj, ASI S Silver Raj and ASI Romesh were injured, he said.

He said that i jured persons were shifted to Naryana hospital karkyal for treatment.

In this connection FIR No.62/2023 U/S 279/337 IPC regd and Investigation of the case is going on, he added.
