Srinagar 07 March: Renowned Socio-political activist Sajid Yousuf Shah greeted people on Shab-e-Baraat and hoped that the auspicious occasion would be the harbinger of peace and development in the State.

In his message, Sajid yousuf shah described the occasion as an opportunity to seek Allahâ s mercy and pray for peace and well-being of the entire humanity.Sajid yousuf said Islam Is the religion of peace and Prophet Muhammad (SAW) Is the perfect embodiment of love, equality and brotherhood. He said the teachings of Prophet Muhammad (SAW) point “us towards the path of peace, affection and kindness.” He said Shab E Baraat is an occasion to dedicate “ourselves to the teachings of our beloved Prophet (SAW) in letter in spirit and work tirelessly towards helping those in need.
Sajid yousuf said during the holly night of prayers we should vow to become passionate and work towards strengthening the bonds of brotherhood, love and amity among the people.
