The recipients included 86 wards (up to class 12th) of police martyrs.

On the occasion, Principal PPS Srinagar Smt. Snighda Singh presented a bouquet to the chief guest. The Programme began by lighting of candle in honour of martyred police personnel by the chef guest which was followed by distribution of gift items to these wards as well as their guardians who were present.

The program was organised by Range Police Hqrs Srinagar as part of the Civic Action Program (CAP) of J&K Police to reach out to the families of the martyrs.
