KUPWARA, FEBRUARY 21: The Deputy Commissioner (DC) Kupwara, Dr. Doifode Sagar Dattatray ( who is also chairman of District Disaster Management Authority)  today asked all line departments to prepare a well-defined Disaster Management Plan so that at the times of any emergency, administration could manage the situation in the best possible way. The DC Kupwara  was today addressing a meeting of senior officers of the district convened to review the progress made regarding relief cases and claims under SDRF in the district.   The DC took a detailed review with regard to property damage relief cases, COVID cases, cattle and sheep death cases, damaged infrastructure cases in floods and other calamities across the district.     On this ocasion 5 property damage relief cases were approved which had 4 fully damge cases and 1 partially damage cases, however 13 cases of property damage relief were deferred due to pendency in documents.   Further clarification and report was sought from chief animal husbandry officer Kupwara and sheep husbandry officer Kupwara with regard to different death cases of cattle, and sheep cases in different grazing pastures of the district. ADC Handwara, ADC Kupwara,  SDM Lolab,  Dy. Director F&E Service, Chief animal husbandry officer Kupwara, Sheep Husbandry officer Kupwara ,Executive Engineers, Tehsildars and other concerned officers attended the meeting. Bhat muzaffar
