MVD Blacklists 24 vehicles at Kulgam

KULGAM, FEBRUARY 20: In continuation to its enforcement drive, a team of Motor Vehicles Department (MVD) headed by ARTO Kulgam today blacklisted 24 vehicles for violating Traffic rules including  Overloading, Overcharging of fare, plying without SLD and other violations.  The action against the erring was taken during checking carried out by the team as part of ongoing enforcement drive. Around 150 Vehicles  plying on various routes in Kulgam including Lirrow, Behibagh, Bolus and Yaripora Routes were checked.        ARTO Kulgam said that MVD shall act sternly against rules violations concerning speed limiting devices, extra fittings, unauthorised modifications.  He added that the inspections by the Motor Vehicles department would continue and shall be intensified in near future across the district.  ARTO also said that the Motor Vehicles Department Kulgam had already suspended multiple route permits and driving licences.
