RAMBAN, FEBRUARY 16: Department of Youth Services & Sports Ramban organized an Inter-block, District-level Kabaddi, Kho -Kho and Volleyball tournaments under SANSAD KHEL SPARDHA at Ramban.  Deputy Commissioner Ramban Mussarat Islam was the chief guest on the occasion.   The Block Batote clinched the title in Kho-Kho competition in both girls and boys categories and block Ramsoo won the final match by defeating block Ramban in volleyball tournament.   Speaking on the occasion, the DC said that Sansad Khel Spardha organized under the aegis of the Union Minister of State in Prime Minister’s Office (PMO), Dr Jitendra Singh.    The Deputy Commissioner said that district administration has put a special focus on development of sports infrastructure to facilitate the youth for their overall development, besides providing a platform to exhibit their talent at national and international levels.  The DYSSO, Dharmveer Singh informed that as many as 150 youth   from different blocks of the district took part in Kabaddi, Kho-Kho and Volleyball events at district level. He said that the selected players from these inter-block, District level tournaments will participate in the tournaments at next level.
