Jammu, Feb 15 : To prevent agitations and protests, the administration has imposed section 144 at the area near Press Club, Jammu on Wednesday.

Sources told the news agency—That the order to impose section 144 was issued after several   agitators protesting in and around the Press Club area of Jammu on daily basis, which pose   inconveniences to people visiting several government offices and private business outlets, housed near the area.  A senior officer said that the order was already in place but today evening it was reimposed to prevent agitations. Last year, in the month of August the DC   Jammu imposed section 144 on all bridges over the Tawi River to prevent rallies.
