Kupwara, Feb 15: The Deputy Commissioner Kupwara, Dr.Doifode Sagar Dattatray ,today handed-over the cheques to  fire victims of remote Nagsari village of Kalaroos. While expressing his sympathies with the fire hit victims, the Deputy Commissioner assured them all possible support from the district administration. He handed over relief cheques among the victims. He said all arrangements be made for the victims and proper assessment of damages including livestock be carried out for due compensation. Meanwhile , Deputy Commissioner urged people to ensure all fire safety measures are taken for safety and security of life and property. “We extend our special thanks  to District administration kupwara especially  Deputy Commissioner Kupwara, Dr. Doifode Sagar Dattatray, who provided us timely assistance and other essential comodities” said the fire victims of Nagsari Kalaroos. Pertinently on the intervening night of Feb 11 and 12 ,at Nagsari Kalaroos 7 residential houses belonging to vulnerable Gujjar tribals  were completely damaged in a fire incident.
