Karnah Kupwara: Spread over two days (7 and 8 Feb), Snow Art Competition organised at Baghbela by Indian Army, provided an excellent platform for children to showcase the talent which they have been practising in their schools and backyards.  The competition saw participation of 146 students from 12 schools. They crafted 27 masterpieces out of snow. There was no dearth of creativity or imagination. There were thrones, snowmen, forts, houses, Taj Mahal, princesses, bears and even an Army officer.  Prizes were given to best three masterpieces and consolation prize for each school. Certificates were given to all students to boost their morale.  The ecstatic faces of children and their motivated attempts were the greatest achievement of this event. Chief Guest of the event, CDR, 104 Inf Bde was impressed by the local talents and appreciated all the participants for their hard work. Prize Distribution was carried out in which three best creations were awarded and consolation prize was given to all schools. The event culminated with locals having tea and snacks with Chief Guest.
