DC Kulgam reviews physical/ financial status of NABARD projects in R&B Sector

KULGAM, JANUARY 27: The Deputy Commissioner (DC) Kulgam, Dr. Bilal Mohi-Ud-din Bhat today reviewed physical and financial progress of NABARD Projects under execution through PWD (R&B) sector in the district in a meeting of concerned officers of R&B, Kulgam and Qazigund Divisions.  The DC was informed about the ongoing execution of road upgradation and construction works taken up in the district.  It was informed that 11 road upgradation and construction projects and 01 bridge are under execution at different locations of the district, with a project cost of 4172 lacs. Expenditure of about 1878 lacs has been made till date, intimated the concerned Executive engineers.  It was also informed that many of these projects are at the final stage of execution.  Dr Bilal on the occasion directed for immediate completion of projects and expediting the pace so that these projects are dedicated for the public benefit.  He asked for increasing men and machinery so that projects are timely completed.  ADDC, Showkat Ahmad Rather; CPO, Zahid Sajad; Ex.
