BARAMULLA, Jan 11: The Senior Superintendent of Police (SSP), Baramulla Amod Nagpure today said that his office will remain open for the people of the district on all working days. “SSP Baramulla office will be open for all citizens on all working days. People can also reach me on my cell phone 7051000999,” Amod wrote in a Tweet. His Tweet has come soon after he took charge of SSP Baramulla in a bid to what has been termed as putting people first.
He also chaired an interaction meeting with SDPOs, In-Charge PCs, SHOs & In-Charge PPs of Baramulla and reviewed the security scenario of the District. During meeting, officers were emphasized to work with zeal and professionalism while dealing with all aspects of policing. It was stressed upon all participants to enhance police public relations and deal firmly with anti-national and anti-social elements. The SSP directed the officers to ensure the security of minorities and PRI members. Stress was laid on effective investigation of cases and their disposal, especially NDPS/ ULA(P) and other heinous crime cases.
The participating officers appraised the chairing officers about their areas of jurisdiction and assignments. Among others the meeting was attended by ASP Baramulla R.K Parihar, DySP DAR DPL Baramulla Peerzada Aijaz Ahmad and others.
