Sh. Jaidev Kesri, DIGP has assumed the command of North Range CRPF Sringar on 05/01/2023. He has conducted an Operational Conference with all the Commanding Officers of North Range CRPF at HQr 73 Bn, Bemina, Srinagar.

During the Operational conference, all the issues of security concern, tactical and stragic importance of   operational areas of North range CRPF were discussed.

The challenges in Srinagar during harsh winter, forthcoming 26 January security threats and for Sri Amar Nath Ji Yatra-2023 security preparations  were also discussed. He has emphasized the troops to work hard on ground with the sense of vigil and alertness and swift contingency response.Emphasis was also laid on Professionalism, Cooperation /coordination with Police & sister organisations, core competencies of empowering the local public through the people first policy, taking good care of foot soldiers for better administrative arrangements for optimal operational performance to attain organisational goals.

He has also focused on the positive  effects of Team building & leadership values for professional success. Further, he interacted with the troops of all Ops units of SNR North Range,wherein, he has applauded the commitment and hard work of troops on ground. He has motivated the troops to feel the proud in Uniform and being a part of elite Armed force and inspire them to work with courage and diligence.

He has reiterated that CRPF has always played important role in maintaining the peace and tranquility in Jammu and Kashmir and we stand committed as a force to ensure the order of law and peace building in the state. The conference was concluded with vote of thank to all participants.
