4 Drug Peddlers arrested alongwith 3 kgs Poppy Straw

On routine patrolling at Sumbal-Singhpora road near Odina, Police under the supervision of SI Ather Parvaiz, IC PP Mirgund signaled i10 vehicle bearing registration number UP65BE-9224 to sstop

During search of the vehicle 3 kgs Poppy Straw, 700 grams Charas powder & 12 grams of Herion like substance was recovered from the said vehicle and arrested four drug peddlers who were identified as *Parvaiz Ahmad Najar S/O Gh Hassan Najar R/O Trehgam Sumbal, Mohammad Maqbool Bhat @ Raja S/O Gh Mustafa, Zulfikar Ali Parray S/O Mohd Akbar and Sher Ali Parray S/O Gh Mohammad all residents of Gund Haseeb Bhat, Srinagar and the vehicle was also seized.   Case under FIR No: 02/2023 NDPS Act registered in Police Station Pattan and investigation set in motion.                                                                                                                               General People of the area hailed the efforts of Baramulla Police and showed their willingness to support police to eradicate menace of drugs from the society which is the real sign of Police Public relationship.
