Sopore, 26 December 2022: Sopore Police arrested one drug peddler during naka checking at Chinar crossing Warpora Sopore. A police team of police post Warpora under the supervision of SDPO Sopore and SHO Police Station Sopore laid a naka at chinar crossing Warpora Sopore.
During naka checking a vehicle bearing registration number JK05F 9885 driven by Zahid Amin Dar S/O Muhammad Amin Dar R/O Krankshivan Colony Sopore was intercepted and 7800 grams of Poppy Straw like substance were recovered. Accused has been arrested and the said vehicle used for commission of crime has also been seized.
In this regard Case FIR No. 274/2022 under relevant sections of law stands registered at Police Station Sopore and investigation has been initiated.
