Ghaziabad Police on Thursday detained a 14-year-old girl and her 23-year-old friend for the murder of the girl’s 58-year-old adoptive father. On September 22, the man was murdered at his Vaishali residence. According to officials, both were caught in Jalgaon and confessed to the murder. Police said the girl was adopted by the couple a week after her birth.
