Srinagar, September 12 : A noted Islamic Scholar Muhammad Shaban Bhat of passed away today.
He was the uncle of Secretary Labour and Employment Department Ajaz Ahmed Bhat (IAS) and father of Ex Sales Tax Commissioner Showket Ahmed Bhat.
The deceased is known for his contribution on education sector of South Kashmir particularly Shopian district.
The Nimaz Jinaza will be offered at Central Hanfia Eid Gah court road Shopian at 10 am today.
