Former Minister, Bharat Vikas Parishad delegation call on Lt Governor

Jammu, September 06: A delegation of registered Stone Crusher Unit Holders led by former Minister Sh Rajiv Jasrotia today called on Lieutenant Governor Manoj Sinha here at Raj Bhawan.

Sh Jasrotia, representing the registered Stone Crusher Unit Holders, raised various issues pertaining to the mining issue in Kathua district, permission for additional blocks in the district and availability of minor minerals at reasonable rates.

Similarly, a delegation of office bearers of Bharat Vikas Parishad J&K headed by its Regional President Sh Devraj Sharma projected various issues of public importance.

Other office bearers of Bharat Vikas Parishad including its Regional Joint General Secretary Sh Arun Sharma, State President Sh Ashok Khajuria, Vice President Sh Vijay Sharma, and State General Secretary Sh Narendar Mishra were also present during the interaction.

The Lt Governor, while interacting with the members of delegations and former Minister observed that the Government is sensitive to the issues and needs of the people and various stakeholders.

The Lt Governor assured them that the issues and demands projected by them would be looked into for early redressal on merit.
