BJP committed to safeguard interests of people, uphold their rights: Slathia

JAMMU SEPTEMBER 03- Saying that the BJP is committed to fulfill the urges and aspirations of people, the Vice President and former minister Mr Surjeet Singh Slathia today rexhorted the functionaries and Karyakartas to further intensify the mass outreach programme for having on-the-spot assessment of problems confronted by the residents and seeking their redressal at appropriate levels.

“Safeguarding the interests of the people and upholding their rights is political philosophy of the BJP”, Mr Slathia said while addressing the party’s Legal, Human Rights and Refugee Cell at the Trikuta Nagar headquarters here this morning.

Mr Slathia, who is also Prabhari of the Cell, referred to the initiatives taken by the BJP for empowerment of the refugees and mitigating their difficulties over the years, saying ensuring ease of their lives is a priority. He said the party has consistently worked towards mitigating their issues and will continue to do so in order to improving their sicio-economic conditions.

Mr Slathia welcomed the other participants of the Cell at its maiden meeting after the reconstruction and urged them to give their best in serving the people at the grass root level besides strengthening the party. He also them to work dedicatedly along with the party Karyakartas so that the results of their efforts are visible at the grass roots level. He asserted that the party had full confidence and trust in the new appointees as the cadre right from the bottom to top to strive for providing selfless service to the common people at the grass root level. He said efforts would be redoubled to provide  succour to the common people as per the priorities fixed in the BJP agenda.

” The Karyakartas will have stand up to the expectations of the party  and to cover every single voter at grass roots level”, Mr Slathia added.

Those present on the occasion included Ved Sharma Co Incharge, all the convenors and co convenors of the Legal, Refugee and Human Rights cells Rajesh Thappa, Ashok Khajuria, Kulbir Charak, Shashi Pal Vaid, Arvind Khajuria, Depesh Singh, Man Mohan Singh and Naman Malik.
