Baramulla, August, 25: Speakers at a Seminar in north Kashmir’s Rafiabad, Baramulla, Thursday stressed upon the young generation and the parents to adopt a well planed policy to get rid of the drug menace.
A Seminar to discuss the drug hazards in the society was conducted in the Muslim Educational Institute, Secondary School, Chatloora, Rafiabad, and it was attended by a significant number of people.
Honorable Principal of the institute, Nazir Ahmad Najar, was present in the Seminar, where SDPO Rafidabad Amin Ahmed participated as the chief guest.
The program was conducted by Ulfat Jan (Faculty of English) and Tanveer (Faculty of History).
The students actively participated and exhibited their talent. They were also attentive towards the valuable viewpoints of the speakers who in one voice expressed their worries about the growing use of the different kinds of narcotics.
The speakers including Nazir Ahmad, Amin Ahmed, Ulfat Jan and Tanveer, suggested to fight the drug threat which according to them is consuming our future generations. They advocated coordinated efforts between the administration and the society including the parents and the religious heads.
